When I See U..........

When I See You???
When I  see you through my eyes
I felt like I was flying in the sky

Look down to see if you’re there
My heart was beating so hard.

I am anxious to know your face
What will I say to express my feeling?

To you was everything
I hope I can be with you

When I see you through my soul
I know that you love me so
Just like my wish to be

To the one that I love.
I want to cherish you

To love you with all my heart
Just like a falling star
With dignity, with passion, is all in you

Get out of the car !

Get out of the car !
( This is supposedly a true account recorded in the Police Log of Sarasota, Florida)
An elderly Florida lady did her shopping and, upon returning to her car , found four males in the act of leaving with her vehicle . She dropped her shopping bags and drew her handgun, proceeding to scream at the top of her lungs, “I have a gun, and I know how to use it ! Get out of the car .”
The four men didn’t wait for a second threat . They got out and run like mad .
The lady, somewhat shaken, then proceeded to load her shopping bags into the back of the car and got into driver’s seat . She was so shaken that she could not get her key into the ignition. She tried and tried and then she realised why . It was for the same reason she had wondered why there was a football , a Frisbee and two 12 pack of beer in the front seat .
A few minutes later, she found her old car parked four or five spaces farther down. She load her bags into the car and drove to the police station to report her mistake .
The sergeant to whom she told the story coudn’t stop laughing . He pointed to the other four pale men were reporting a car jacking by a mad elderly woman described as white , less than five feet tall , glasses, curly white hair, and carrying a large handgun.
No charges were filed . Moral of the story.
If you’re going to have a senior moment … make it memorable

It's Hard For Me To Pretend That I Don't Care About You Anymore

Top health myths about water.......

Monday, July 25, 2011

It can even kill you
Water is an amazing substance - we can't live without it and in fact we are mostly made of it.
So it is not surprising that a whole bunch of half-truths and myths exist about water,
especially when it comes to your health.
Myth 1: We should drink 8 glasses of water a day to avoid dehydration
Probably one of the most widely-believed yet false beliefs about water -
no doubt encouraged by bottled water brands.
It's true that our bodies need a fair amount of water every day.
According to the British Dietetic Association, most of us need the equivalent of around six to eight glasses of fluid a day, fluid not water. Much of this can be obtained from the food we eat - fruit and vegetables are 80-90 per cent water by weight - and other drinks including milk, tea and coffee.
Obviously in hotter, sweatier conditions we need to up our intake to make up for the extra loss, but again, any non-alcoholic drink will suffice.
Your body is also very good at regulating its water levels - it will get rid of excess by sweat and urine and when levels are low you will feel thirsty and compelled to drink.
Myth 2: Coffee, tea and other beverages "dehydrate" you
While it is true that caffeine has a diuretic effect (it makes you want to pee) this is very mild compared with the amount of water contained in the drink.
So as explained above these drinks will contribute to your body's need for water.
Myth 3: Water is harmless (apart from drowning!)
Generally speaking water is a non-toxic substance.
But it is possible to drink too much water.
In extreme cases drinking too much water can cause an electrolyte imbalance
in the body, known as "water intoxication."
Athletes in extreme sports such as marathon runners have been know to suffer from this condition.
Their sport causes them to sweat profusely, leading to a loss of both water and electrolytes, including sodium.
But if they drink a lot of water in a short period of time without replacing the lost electrolytes, sodium levels in the blood fall, which can be potentially life-threatening.
Myth 4: Bottled water is safer that tap water
Would you drink a liquid containing chemicals that may have been exposed to pesticides,
man-made fertilisers and even radioactive materials and destroys the environment?
Then you will probably be happy to pay 1,500 times the going rate to drink water from a plastic bottle.
Tap water is subject to stringent health and safety requirements.
It is continuously tested and safe to drink. Bottled waters often come from exactly
the same sources as tap water - in fact some are tap water.
Much bottled water is prepared with lower safety standards than tap water, and it consumes vast resources to bottle, ship, market and sell it. That's why it costs around 1,500 times more per drink than tap water, which is safe, cheap, convenient and by the far the most eco-friendly way to get water.
Myth 5: Water can help you lose weight
Actually there is some truth is this idea. But only some.
Going back to myth 1, drinking calorie-free and sugar-free water is a better way to get your daily fluid intake than gulping back sugary, high-calorie soft drinks.
And some studies have shown that if you drink a pint of water before a meal it can help you eat less. But the key point here is that you do in fact need to eat less - the water itself does not in any way reduce your body fat.

Let Me Trust You Forever

Everyday I am getting more afraid
Of giving my heart away
I don’t know what love will bring
I am afraid of hearing the words you say.

I find myself completely lost in you
Thought I am not sure I really want to be
I often remembers the looks you give
And wonder what exactly you see in me

I don’t want to live with a broken heart
Why am I so lost in love?
And I am not able to give up
For a guy who was sent from above

I am gonna trust you
Promise me you won’t let me down
I am giving you a golden chance
please turn my life around.

Please never take me for granted
Because it might not last for long,
I am very weak with thoughts
And my heart is not very strong.

Now my life is in your hands
And its all upto you
I look forward for a future with you
And the things we would do.

Please remember, I am vulnerable
I can’t allow my heart to be hurt,
Always keep me at the top of your list
No matter you keep me at the first.

Have faith in me when I tell you,
That I Love You with all my heart
that I am here for you always
Just like I was at the start…

Wanna look fab? Get a fruit facial

Saturday, July 23, 2011

The next time you've had a fruit don't bin the peel, for papayas, melons, berries and more can be nature's best 'pick-me-ups' for the skin, reveal skin experts

Move over the clay and other facials, for a natural facial rejuvenation today simply lies in a good ol' fruit. Skin expert Dr Rashmi Shetty affirms, "Using fruits on the skin is one of the oldest, most cost effective and trusted methods used for safe skin care treatment. Firstly, fruits provide your skin with tremendous hydration, imparting it with a very fresh, quenched look. Another major benefit of it is in the loosening of the cement between the dead cells on the top layer of the skin. For example, the papain enzyme in papaya acts in this way."

Safe for skin
Essentially, fruit masks are completely free of artificial ingredients, perfumes and chemicals that can be quite harmful for the skin. Paulomi Dhawan, who heads Svastii Spa at Powai, Mumbai, elaborates, "Fruit facials work great when you choose a fruit that suits your skin type. Fruits are natural and some are known for their anti-ageing effects. A fruit facial also refreshes and revitalises your skin without side-effects."

Want a quick fix glow?
Dr Rashmi Shetty reveals the health benefits of fruit for the face:

- A fresh papaya pack acts wonderfully for tanned skin as it loosen the top layer of dead cells. Mix papaya with potato, which contains Vitamin A, and apply on skin for an instant tan removal.
- A grated cucumber pack mixed with coconut water is a brilliant calming agent for sunburnt skin which is red and irritated.
- If you are in a habit of drinking coconut water everyday, dabbing the water on your face will help lighten dark spots.
- Honey and banana mixed together come together as a great hydrant to bring life back to dull skin.
- Coconut oil is an excellent moisturiser that works from deep within your skin. Make it a part of your daily beauty routine.
- Condensed coconut milk made into a thick paste can be applied under the eyes to lighten and hydrate the skin. This takes care of fine lines around the skin.
